Hello. I own a VW Golf 5, 2006, 2.0 TDI engine. I was looking for a replacement battery and I found the “Battery Search” option on your website. Since I consider Varta as being the best battery manufacturer, the choice was easy. Anyway, I was a little bit lead into error by the informations obtained from the Battery Search, and what I mean is: it says that a Silver Dynamic 85Ah 800A battery would fit into my car. And it doesn’t, it’s too large. Way too large. I was insipred to measure the dimensions of the battery box on my car before buying the battery, and it’s like 29CM in lenght. A 31.5CM battery would never fit that. I bought a 74Ah 750A Silver Dynamic battery (which wasn’t listed as a recommened battery on your battery search), which is 27.8CM in lenght, and I struggled to get it in.
